Leica X-PAD Field Software

X-PAD is the field software at the centre of the Leica X-PAD portfolio. Every instrument in the portfolio runs on it, so the crew gets one interface, one dataset per job, and one consistent way of working whether they are on a GNSS receiver or a robotic total station. It is built around the tasks that fill the week, coded topographic survey and stakeout, not around every surveying task ever invented. CAD drawings, mapping, BIM models, field calculations, and visual surveying sit in the same place, with 2D, 3D, map, and site views so the data can be understood and verified before the crew leaves site. Paired with the Leica GS11, X-PAD adds the visual workflows: stakeout navigation over live site imagery, AR quality checks, measuring straight from images, and automatic image documentation. Paired with the TS13, it keeps one interface and one data format across a robotic total station and GNSS on the same truck. The name is new, GeoMax X-PAD Ultimate becomes Leica X-PAD, but the workflows are the ones customers already know. Same interface, same data, no retraining. GeoMax instruments keep working with it and are supported until at least the end of 2030. X-PAD is not a replacement for Leica Captivate. Captivate is the onboard software for maximum capability across any surveying task; X-PAD offers a focused set of everyday surveying routines at a competitive price point.
