The GS05 is the lightweight GNSS smart antenna: 0.75 kg on the pole, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. It carries 4G, UHF radio, tilt compensation and an IP-rated shell, which is a lot of instrument for something that barely registers on the pole. Tilt compensation is calibration-free and immune to magnetic disturbances, so there is no bubble to level and no drift around steel and machinery. 184 channels, 10 mm + 1 ppm RTK on a single baseline, and RTK initialisation typically in 6 seconds. It runs Leica Captivate on a CS20, CS30, CC180 or CC200 controller, works with Leica Infinity and GeoCloud Drive, and can even be combined with total station operation as a SmartPole. The GS05 is also a named sensor in the Leica X-PAD portfolio, so a crew already running X-PAD keeps one interface and one data format across GNSS and total station.
