The TS13 starts as a two-person instrument and becomes a one-person robotic system when you add the keyboard, follow-me lock, SpeedSearch, and radio connectivity. Angular accuracy comes in 1, 2, 3, and 5 second versions, so the same family covers a stakeout crew and a control crew. AutoHeight measures the instrument height for you, ATR locks onto the target automatically to 1,000 m with a circular prism, and EGL guides the operator to the point. Single prism accuracy is 1 mm + 1 ppm, typically 2.4 seconds, and non-prism reaches beyond 1,000 m. The TS13 is a named sensor in the Leica X-PAD portfolio, so a crew already running X-PAD on a GS05 or GS11 keeps one interface, one dataset per job, and one data format (HeXML) across GNSS and total station. It runs Leica Captivate as well: Captivate for maximum capability and specialised applications, X-PAD for the focused everyday routines.
