Sentech Camera Software + Good UVC Camera Software
Sentech StUVC / Sentech Industrial Software
StCamSWare (x64 / x86): The official Sentech utility. Low-level driver/viewer software made for specific industrial USB cameras. Essential if you need the official factory controls.
Windows (standard UVC only)
- AMCap: Old reliable for field techs. Super lightweight, gives you direct access to raw hardware properties like gain, exposure, and white balance.
- Plugable Digital Viewer: Simple, clean general viewer. Good for basic scope use.
- Mic-Fi / MicroCapture: Medical/industrial standard. Good for drawing annotations and taking measurements over a live feed.
- OBS Studio: Surprisingly awesome for field work. You can tweak the UI, add sharpening or color filters, and it has the best recording reliability.
- ImageJ: Scientific analysis software. Use this if you need deep pixel parsing or scaling.
- Webcamoid / Yawcam / UniLab / EHE: Extra utility and OEM bundles for random scopes.
Linux (standard UVC only)
- guvcview: The gold standard for UVC control on Linux. Simple sidebar with sliders for all hardware controls. Very stable, but the menus are kinda brokey.
- Kamoso: Good, but you have to manually pick your camera in the settings first.
- Cheese: Total minimalist option. Fine for checking a feed, but lacks any real controls.
Android (standard UVC only)
- nExt Camera: Really good for USB cameras over OTG, except it has some glitches on specific hardware combinations.
- USB Camera Pro: Paid, full-featured app that works with mostly any generic Chinese scope or capture card.
