The Rugby 680 is the grade laser: dial-in grade in both axes up to +/- 8%, with Smart Slope watching for drift as the day warms up and compensating for it. That is what separates it from the manual-slope models and makes it the right instrument for machine control. Accuracy is +/- 1.5 mm at 30 m, the working diameter reaches 900 m with a Rod Eye 120 and 1,100 m with the Rod Eye 140 or 160, and the battery runs up to 75 hours on Li-ion. IP67. Site preparation and levelling to grade with dozers, graders, and excavators, grade checking, ramps and driveways, formwork levelling and verticality, and wall set-out are the jobs it is built for.
