The LS10 and LS15 are digital levels with a colour touch display and integrated distance measurement, so one instrument carries the elevation and the distance to the staff. The LS10 handles general site levelling; the LS15 is the precision model, with autofocus on Invar staffs and an overview camera for reading the staff. Height accuracy with an Invar staff is 0.3 mm on the LS10 and 0.2-0.3 mm on the LS15, and 1.0 mm with a standard staff on both. Distance is measured at the same time, to 15 mm at 30 m, which removes a second instrument and a second crew from the workflow. It is the right tool for benchmark height transfer, deformation and settlement monitoring profiles, and construction levelling where the readout has to be both the elevation and the distance.
