The iCT30 is a motorised one-person construction layout tool built for MEP and HVAC work, interior set-out, and anywhere the layout tool has to find its prism in a cluttered building. ATR automatic aiming locks onto the target, AutoSearch finds it when the crew does not know where it is, and the EGL guide light walks the operator onto the point. It works directly from fully rendered IFC models through iCON build, so layout comes off the model rather than off a printed sheet. Range to prism or non-prism is 1.5-80 m with 1 mm on a prism and 2 mm on any surface, and the whole instrument runs a shift on one battery. The result is one person laying out a floor without a second person calling coordinates over the noise.
