The DD100 Series is Leica's underground utility locator family for tracing buried services before you dig. Three models cover the range: the DD120 is the basic line and sonde locator, the DD130 adds depth and current measurement, and the DD175 adds data logging, Bluetooth, and internal GPS so site scans can be recorded and documented. All three trace power and radio signals and depth every target. Sonde work covers the deeper range, so a pushed sonde can be followed from the surface; a conductive rod picks up non-metallic pipe and cable over the standard 50 m rod. The DD175 writes what it finds to internal memory and tags it to a position. It is the tool for utility locators, excavation contractors, and site managers who need to know exactly what is under the dig before the dig starts.
