Clinometers

A clinometer (or inclinometer) is a precision professional tool designed to measure the angle of a slope, elevation, or depression relative to gravity. Essential in industries like forestry, construction, and engineering, these instruments allow users to calculate tree heights through trigonometry or monitor the stability of walls and road gradients. Some use cases include measuring shafts, propellers, wing surfaces, and machine tools. An adjustable base permits reading angles from zero on surfaces that are not perfectly horizontal.
